Introducing Joysteer 3.0

We're excited to announce that this summer, Steering Developments successfully completed the first UK installation of the new Joysteer 3.0 system.

The advanced drive-by-wire system was fitted into a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, tailored to meet the specific needs of a customer requiring fully adapted vehicle control. This marks a major milestone for both Steering Developments and the wider accessible vehicle industry in the UK.

To prepare for this installation, we were proud to host Bozzio — the Swiss manufacturers behind Joysteer — at our Hemel Hempstead workshop for a specialist three-day training course. Their expert team worked closely with our engineers to deliver hands-on guidance and in-depth product knowledge, ensuring our team is fully equipped to deliver these cutting-edge systems.

Joysteer 3.0 offers an enhanced user experience, with improved safety, adaptability and intuitive handling for disabled drivers. We're proud to be leading the way in bringing this next-generation technology to the UK.
