Choosing a New Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle
We offer a full service for wheelchair accessible vehicles from Ford, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen. The floor and ramp conversion is carried out by our trusted partners; every driving control, tie-down and Stage 2 adaptation is then fitted in our own Hemel Hempstead workshops to suit the driver or passenger it is built for.

A coordinated service, from vehicle conversion to Stage 2 adaptation
Every vehicle on this page starts life as a standard Ford, Mercedes-Benz or Volkswagen. The floor-lowering and ramp conversion is carried out by one of our trusted partners; we then fit the Stage 2 adaptations — including driving controls, wheelchair tie-downs and other customisations — in our own Hemel Hempstead workshops.\n\nWe coordinate the process from advice through to the finished vehicle, while each specialist remains responsible for its own work. We will talk through headroom, ramp angle, seating layout and how you or your passenger get in and out, then recommend the vehicle and adaptations that genuinely fit your needs.\n\nThese vehicles are sold on a private purchase basis and are not currently available through the Motability Scheme. Pricing depends on the model and conversion specification, so please call our team for a one-to-one assessment so we can understand your exact requirements.

Ford Custom — three conversions in one range
The Tourneo Custom Titanium is available as three distinct builds — Colorado, Nevada and Monterey 6 — each aimed at a different way of travelling.

Ford Connect Tourneo
A more compact, everyday alternative to the Custom. The Connect range offers spacious rear wheelchair access as standard, with the option of a drive-from-wheelchair configuration for those who want to travel up front. It's a stylish, easier-to-park option for drivers who don't need the full size of the Custom.

Mercedes-Benz Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles
Mercedes V-Class WAV
The V-Class is our premium option — leather upholstery, COMAND Online multimedia and heated front seats come as standard before conversion. The wheelchair access modification is carried out by Lewis Reed, and we then adapt the vehicle further to your needs, including the Sure-Fit 200® tie-down system for wheelchairs weighing up to 200kg.
Available in four wheelchair seating positions depending on layout, with a choice of two diesel engines: V 220 d BlueTEC® auto and V 300 d BlueTEC® auto.

Volkswagen Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles
VW Caddy Drive WAV
Based on the Caddy Life short-wheelbase, the Sirus conversion lets you drive from your own wheelchair with no transfer and no assistance needed. Press the key fob and the tailgate opens; once inside, a dashboard button closes the ramp and tailgate automatically. It runs on VW's 6-speed DSG transmission with a 2.0 diesel engine.

VW Caravelle
For a wheelchair user travelling as a passenger, the Caravelle's lowered-floor conversion gives generous headroom and a gentle rear ramp angle, in a vehicle with enough room for family or carers to travel alongside in comfort.
