The Turny Evo is a powered seat lift that swivels the car seat out of the vehicle and lowers it to a comfortable transfer height, then lifts you back inside at the push of a button. It is one of the most adaptable seat lifts we fit in, working in a wide range of car, SUV and MPV models.

Overview
Get seated outside the car, at the height that works for you
Modern cars are built low and aerodynamic, which can make getting seated genuinely hard work — for wheelchair users and for anyone who struggles with the twist and drop into a standard seat. The Turny Evo solves this by bringing the whole seat out to meet you.
Once you are settled, a single button on the hand control rotates and lifts the seat back into the car. The Turny Evo is regarded as one of the most capable seat lifts on the market, and it is engineered to work in vehicles where simpler swivel bases cannot be fitted.
It suits drivers and passengers, and in many larger vehicles it can also be installed in the second row. Fitting is fully reversible, so it will not affect your car's resale value and can be transferred to your next vehicle.

Built for confident, independent transfers
Full outside transfer
The seat clears the door opening entirely and lowers to your level, so transfers from a wheelchair happen at a lower, easier point rather than up into the car.
Adjustable comfort
Slide the seat lengthways and recline the backrest just as you would in a standard car seat, once you are back inside the vehicle.
Intuitive hand control
A four-button handset with coloured indicator lights shows exactly which functions are available at each stage of the movement.
Smartphone control
Fitted with the optional BraunAbility Remote receiver, the seat can also be operated from the BraunAbility Remote app.
Built-in footrest
A footrest supports your feet as the seat rotates in or out, and can be used to add a little extra lift when standing.
Manual back-up
The Turny Evo runs from the car's own power supply and includes a manual override for use in the event of a power failure.
1. Seat rotates out and down
Press the control and the Turny Evo swivels through up to 113° and lowers up to 39cm, clearing the door frame completely.
2. Transfer at your level
With the seat lowered to match your wheelchair, transfer across without an awkward lift — in either direction.
3. Lift and rotate back in
One more press of the control brings the seat up and swivels it forward into the driving or passenger position.

For low-built cars, our team can advise on the Turny Low Vehicle base instead.
