The Turnout is a swivel seat designed for those who find it difficult to enter a vehicle or make a transfer from the wheelchair. Its is available ina manual and an electric version for both left and right side installations.
Installed between the vehicle’s floor and the car seat the Turnout enables the car seat to be rotated facing outwards. An added bonus is that the rotated seat will be a little bit further out, is its closer to the user.
The Turnout is one of the simplest and most economical solutions to fit. It is suitable for both drivers and passengers and is available with manual swivel as Turnout and with powered swivel as Turnout E. Both models come in either a 2-door or 4-door version. The Turnout BIS B-Max is a complete solution for the Ford B-Max.
Turnout BIS Ford B-Max
The Turnout BIS B-Max is a complete solution to make the Ford B-Max accessible for people with limited mobility.
The kit includes the Turnout swivel base, vehicle specific mounting bracket and a seat with an integrated seatbelt which is skillfully installed by the SDL team in our own fully equipped workshops.
During design, the BraunAbility engineers had to overcome the substantial challenge of the B-Max’s belt in seat design due to the tremendous increase in impact forces affecting the swivel seat in event of a crash The kit has passed all rigorous crash and pull tests with flying colours.
Turnout
An electric or manual system that allows you to swivel the seat inwards and outwards for entering and exiting your vehicle. It makes getting in and out of the vehicle so much easier.
Once it is outside the doorway, simply sit down and rotate the seat back into place. All you have to do is lift your feet over the sill (and the further back you put the seat, the more room you have to make this easy).
Turnout can be operated manually or electrically (optional).

BEV Kids seat + Armrests
Designed for use in combination with the Turny or the Turnout the BEV seat is a highly adaptable seat with a wide number of accessories such as torso or lumbar supports for individual adaptation.
The sides of the cushion have easy-slide upholstery for transfers to and from a wheelchair. Can be easily adapted for children who need a shorter cushion or have other particular needs.
Tested and approved according to M1 standards in combination with Turny and Turnout.
