The Series 5 powerchair — built for real life
Most powerchair users end up with two chairs: one for indoors, one for outdoors. The Series 5 replaces both. It handles tight shop aisles and steep kerbs, gravel paths and public transport, without asking you to plan your day around what your chair can or cannot do. Designed by a powerchair user and tested over 50,000km across more than 70 countries.

The Series 5 delivers up to 40km — significantly more range than standard powerchair batteries. Day trips, commutes, long walks in the park: get out and stop counting the kilometres. The charger is built in, so there is no separate box to carry, and the range indicator tells you exactly where you stand.

A top speed of 12km/h means you can keep pace with walking companions, catch a bus, or simply get out of the rain. Responsive joystick control and anti-tip protection keep you confident on any surface.

The Series 5 comes in a range of colours — Freedom Yellow, Macbeth Red, Harris Sea Blue, Stornaway Black, Glasgow Grey and Thistle Green. Customisation includes seating, armrests, footrests and accessories such as phone holders, bags and cup holders. Specialist seating is available on request from our team.

Common questions
Is the Series 5 available through Motability?
No. The Series 5 is bought privately, and we are happy to talk you through the funding and charitable grant options that may apply.
Is it approved for public transport?
Yes. The Series 5 is crash tested to ISO 7176-19 and approved for buses, trains and aircraft, with simple battery isolation for flights.
How does it compare to a mobility scooter?
A powerchair gives you far greater postural support and a tighter turning circle for indoor use, and it is the better choice for frequent or full-day use. The Series 5 adds outdoor capability that most powerchairs cannot match.
