Move between your wheelchair and car seat without a struggle
The Electric Transfer Plate suits you if you need help getting from sitting to standing, or need to slide sideways between a wheelchair and a car seat where there is a difference in height. It is electrically operated, and it lifts out after use so anyone else can get in and out of the vehicle as normal.
Fitted, calibrated and serviced from our fully equipped Hemel Hempstead workshop.
How the transfer plate works
The plate sits between your wheelchair and the car seat and is raised or lowered electrically, so you are never fighting a height difference or trying to lift yourself across a gap.
Once you are settled in the vehicle, the plate is taken out and stored, leaving the doorway completely clear. An optional remote control lets you or the person helping you operate it from wherever is easiest.
Please note the plate has a user weight limit of 120kg.
Everyday use

The lightweight design means removing and refitting the plate is quick and simple, which matters when you are doing it several times a day.
Because it comes away completely, other passengers and drivers use the vehicle exactly as they normally would — nothing is left in the way.
Sitting to standing

Sideways transfers
Bridges the height difference between a wheelchair and the car seat so you can slide across.
Shared vehicles
The plate is removed after use, so non-wheelchair users board the vehicle with ease.
Optional remote
A remote control is available if operating the plate from the seat or from outside is easier for you.
