E-Motion S swivel seat
The E-Motion S is an advanced powered seat lift system designed to make entering and exiting a vehicle easier, safer and more comfortable. It brings the entire vehicle seat out through the door opening and lowers it to a convenient height for transferring to or from a wheelchair.
Once you are seated, the E-Motion S smoothly lifts, rotates and positions the seat inside the vehicle using a simple hand-held control. Every movement is powered, reducing physical effort and providing a comfortable, dignified transfer.

The seat comes out to meet you
The seat travels 540 mm outwards and 400 mm down, so it clears the door opening and arrives at a height that suits a wheelchair transfer. Rotation is a powered 110 degrees, with 270 mm of internal movement to help you settle into the right position.

Motion manual swivel seat
The Motion is a manually operated swivel seat base that rotates the vehicle seat outside the door opening by up to 110 degrees. This gives you a more accessible position for sitting down or transferring before the seat swivels smoothly back into its travelling position.
A simple release mechanism allows the seat to rotate safely with minimal effort. The Motion can be installed on either the driver or passenger side of many 3-door and 5-door vehicles, and its compact, low-profile design helps preserve headroom.

Which Elap swivel seat is right for you?
Choose the E-Motion S if you need the seat to move fully outside the vehicle and lower to wheelchair transfer height using powered controls. Choose the Motion if manual rotation is suitable and you want a simpler transfer seat base without powered lifting or lowering.

What is the difference between E-Motion S and Motion?
The E-Motion S provides powered rotation, outward travel and lowering to wheelchair transfer height. The Motion rotates manually by up to 110 degrees but does not lift or lower the seat.
Can the seats be fitted on the driver or passenger side?
The Motion can be installed on either the driver or passenger side of many vehicles. The E-Motion S suits the front passenger seat and selected second-row positions. We will check your vehicle before recommending either system.
What weight will the seats take?
Both systems have a safe working load of 150 kg.
Are Elap swivel seats available through Motability?
