Our recent trip to Italy - and what it means for you

A great few days with HandyTech in Italy.

We're excited to share that some members of our team at Steering Developments recently travelled to Italy for a two-day training event at HandyTech HQ, organised by our friends at BAS NW.

It was a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on with their full range of mobility solutions and spend time learning directly from the experts behind the products.

Hands-on learning and real experience

On day one, we were introduced to the full HandyTech product range, including a wide variety of driving controls, transfer solutions, and swivel seating systems. We then got stuck in with practical training, learning how to install the equipment and understand how it works in real-world situations.

These solutions are designed to support a wide range of needs — from driving adaptations to wheelchair loading systems and vehicle access equipment.

Day two was all about putting everything into practice. We headed out onto the test track to trial the equipment ourselves, giving us a real feel for how each system performs.

More than just training

It wasn't just about the technical side. The event was also a great chance to meet and connect with other installers from across the UK, share knowledge, and learn from each other's experiences.

And of course, being in Italy didn't disappoint — we enjoyed fantastic food, great company, and some truly breathtaking scenery along the way.

What this means for you
