Training and Updates to the SDMotion
The team here at Steering Developments were delighted to welcome representatives from a leading Japanese OEM supplier recently.
They are the manufacturers of the powerful technology and equipment used in our SDMotion products – the SDMotionDrivePlus and the SDMotionAssistPlus. Both products enable you to transform a standard manual wheelchair into a power wheelchair – either with power assisted wheels that reduce the strength needed to push them, or with a joystick control.
Our supplier manufactures the power wheels and associated controls, and they came to speak to us about the latest servicing, programming, and software on these products.
At SDL, we’re committed to keeping up to date with the latest developments in wheelchair technology, so we really appreciated our partners from Japan taking the time to come over and give us some training in the latest updates. Our team have decades of experience in adapting wheelchairs and vehicles for accessibility but we never stop learning.
