  SDL offer a Comprehensive Assessment Service to private customers who are perhaps newly disabled and/or are looking for the best solutions in becoming or remaining mobile, both in everyday mobility situations and specifically in motoring.
  
  SDL is an Assessment Centre with qualified staff to advise you on the way forward.
  
  
• Home Assessment Service
  
  SDL offers home demonstrations covering a range of our products, to private individuals, to enable you to not only try the systems out for yourselves, but to see the product in your own environment and discuss the proposed product with our experienced and knowledgeable demonstrators.
  
  
• Vehicle Sales & Service for Private and Motability Clients
  
  Vehicles can be sourced by SDL to make the whole procedure of buying and adapting a vehicle quicker and easier. We can liase with the garage to ensure a smooth purchase & delivery of the vehicle.
  
  Once purchased, we are here to support you and your vehicle by way of servicing of the systems/products we have fitted.
  
  
• Mobility Seminars and Presentation Service
  
  Our Mobility Consultant, has many years of experience in vehicle adaptations and mobility solutions for the disabled.
  
  He is a member of the Institute of the Motor Industry (M.I.M.I.) a Member of the Institute for Expert Witnesses (E.W.I.), for legal work, as well as the Director of the European Mobility Group (EMG).
  
  He has a long background in Engineering, enabling him to understand even the most technical of adaptations and has achieved many qualifications covering wheelchair types and mobility aids, as well as anatomical & physical requirements of the disabled, sufficient to allow him to tutor at University level.

• Legal Matters including Compensation Claims
  
  Our Mobility Consultant is a Member of the E.W.I. (Member No 839) and can provide the necessary services to clients/Solicitors who wish to engage a qualified expert witness to assist with their claim for compensation.
  
  His field of expertise is “vehicle and wheelchair mobility solutions”, assessing the total lifestyle of the person concerned. These are usually carried out via home assessment, and conclude with a court presentable report and case conference/court appearance.
  
  This comprehensive service is part of SDL’s on-going activities to support more of our clients’ needs.
